I started this blog to accompany the online Connectivism & Connective Knowledge Course (2008).
At that time I wrote:
I view it (this blog) more as a place to record some of my thinking at the present time, than to share with others, but if anyone does ever venture here, welcome! I’m happy to receive comments and will reply if I can. I cannot claim to know anything much about this topic, which will probably be apparent in the posts.
I still view this blog in a similar way, although I was greatly surprised during the Connectivism and Connective Knowledge course that a few people did venture here and took the time to post comments. After the course finished I thought about whether I wanted to continue blogging. Despite the fact that the course has finished I still think that the title of this blog is relevant, in that the blog is about whether I can connect with others, conceptually and socially.
Sometimes I have absolutely nothing to say – or at least nothing to say that I think could possibly be of interest to others. So I’m not sure how long I will continue blogging, but some of my readers have been very encouraging (many thanks) so for the time being I’m still here!
If you are reading this – thanks for visiting!
