Next week (Tuesday Nov 1st), as part of the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) festival week, Karen Guldberg from the Autism Centre for Education and Research, School of Education, University of Birmingham in collaboration with Head Teacher Ian Lowe (Topcliffe Primary School), Sarah Parsons (University of Southampton) and Wendy Keay-Bright (Cardiff School of Art and Design) will work with pupils, parents and teachers to showcase innovative and interactive technologies that have been developed for children on the autism spectrum.
These technologies can support children on the autism spectrum in developing their social skills. They have the potential to both enhance and transform the teaching and learning of all who work with them.
