I posted my initial response to this text in a previous post – Creativity and Experience on the Distributed Web.
See also Kevin Hodgson’s post for one example of how to respond to this task. Stephen wrote: “Here’s a good example of the sort of thing you could create, by Kevin Hodgson (who apparently also studied mind reading as he completed this Task before it was posted).
Your representation is ably and eloquently articulated. It echoes much of my own experiences on the course, in particular parts of your last two paragraphs which resound strongly. I found myself smiling through every part of your poem as the melodic piano played along in the background!
Thanks so much for your comment Davey, And thanks for recognising that it was completed a bit tongue in cheek. Like others have expressed, I didn’t think this was an easy task and knew that I would have to bite the bullet and not think too much of the consequences! I’m hoping Stephen’s badges are simply for completion and do not indicate a grading 🙂
I enjoyed your task too and it has been lovely to see what everyone has come up with, each unique to the person. I am a bit behind with the posts made for the Experience week and am only just beginning to catch up.
